A few hundred metres past the mangrove trail, this aquarium was far better than we were expecting.
Hundreds of colourful tropical fish of all shapes and sizes can be seen in relatively large display tanks that line the aquarium's dark and wide halls. A small display of rare seashells is also worth a peek, but the highlight is a glass-roofed walkway where huge fish, sharks and eels swim all around and overhead.
Admission is free, and like the mangrove trail, it's best to visit on a weekday if not wanting to share the aquarium with hundreds of holidaying Thais.
