Kayaking

Our rating:

One- and two-person kayaks can be hired from a few spots along Lo Dalam that makes for a good base to explore the surrounds.

Photo of Kayaking

The most popular beach to paddle to is the lovely Monkey Beach which lies about a 45-minute splash away to the northwest of Lo Dalam.

You can’t actually see the beach from Lo Dalam, but it is beautiful and totally undeveloped. Oh, and it’s called Monkey Beach for a reason: the trees are crawling in them.

Kayak hire starts at around 100 baht per hour or 500 baht per day for a one-person kayak. Two-person kayaks are also available for 200 baht per hour, or 700 baht per day.
