How to get to and from Koh Ta Kiev

Use the quicklinks below to jump to the desired section regarding transport in and around Koh Ta Kiev.

Koh Ta Kiev is an hour by boat from Sihanoukville. Ten103 runs a daily longtail from Otres Beach, with a free tuk tuk from central Sihanoukville. It leaves from Sunshine Cafe at Otres 1 at 10:00 every morning. The return boat leaves Koh Ta Kiev at 09:00.

Crusoe Island run an on-demand service from Otres Beach at 11:00, returning from the island at 08:00. Bookings should be made directly and boat tickets paid on arrival at the island. In bad weather or for bookings of five people or more, they will arrange a boat from Ream National Park for $8 return. The boat usually leaves at 16:00.

Koh Ta Kiev Bungalows also run boats from Otres Beach -- call in advance on (088) 883 3223 for the $15 round trip.

Direct boats to The Last Point leave the Sea Garden on Otres 1 every day at 11:30, costing $12.

You can also join a day tour, stay for a night and catch the return leg later (subject to the tour schedules). We got caught for an additional fee when the day trip we booked, while repeatedly and specifically requesting Koh Ta Kiev, went to Koh Russei instead. They brought us over the short hops from one bay to the next, but not before extracting $20 for the privilege. If you take this route, make sure before the boat leaves that it will actually be going to Koh Ta Kiev.
