How to get to and from Legian

The Perama shuttle stop is in Kuta just north of Poppies I and transports passengers to all the major tourist destinations a number of times per day. Sample destinations include:

Sanur: 06:00, 10:00, 13:30, 16:30 - 25,000 rupiah
Ubud: 06:00, 10:00, 13:30, 16:30 - 50,000 rupiah
Lovina: 10:00 - 125,000 rupiah
Padang Bai and Candi Dasa: 06:00, 10:00, 13:30 - 60,000 rupiah
Gilis (via Padang Bai): 10:00 - 350,000 rupiah

Taxis around town start from 5,000 rupiah and it is best to use the usually reliable Blue Bird Group. Other companies can provide fair prices, but will sometimes try to fleece customers. Always insist that the driver use the meter.

There is no bemo terminal in Legian and it is best to make your way to bemo corner in Kuta for bemos to Denpasar, Jimbaran or Nusa Dua/Tanjung Benoa.

Jimbaran: 10,000 rupiah
Nusa Dua/Tanjung Benoa: 20,000 rupiah
