How to get to and from Kasi

The bus station is located at the fork where Route 4 splits off from main highway Route 13, close to the fresh market.

Songthaews to Vang Vieng, 60 km away, take 1.5 hours and cost 25,000 kip. They depart at 08:45, 09:30, 10:15, 11:00, 12:00, and around 13:30-14:00.

Transport to Vientiane, 212 km away, takes 6 hours and costs 50,000 kip.
Bus departs: 06:30, 07:30
Minivan departs: 08:00, around 13:30-14:00

Transport to Luang Prabang depends on whenever a minivan, bus or songthaew from Vang Vieng or Vientiane passes through heading north. Expect one at least every couple of hours throughout the day.
